The Okanagan is steeped in fruit growing history. It goes back to the 1800s. Back then, orchards were for personal use but in 1890, the first commercial orchard popped up. Our first orchard dates to the early 1900’s when the commercial boom was in full swing. If you know anything about Okanagan families, you will know the Ritchie family. They built our packinghouse in 1936 to accommodate moving apples across the province. That’s almost a century ago! In 2016, the original 85-year-old packinghouse was repurposed to produce our cider and we then added our manufacturing area and tasting room. In June 2016, we opened our doors and the rest is history. Producing authentic, artisanal ciders for people who love complex and engaging.
