Okanagan Go is seeking an ambitious and creative Regional Marketing Director to lead local growth initiatives and elevate tourism visibility across the Okanagan.
This role is responsible for developing regional marketing campaigns, business partnerships, local storytelling initiatives, destination awareness, visitor engagement, and supporting growth across Okanagan Go and VIBE Okanagan.
You will work closely with wineries, restaurants, attractions, accommodations, events, tourism operators, and local businesses to increase exposure while helping visitors discover what makes each region unique.
This is not a traditional corporate marketing role. We are looking for someone who enjoys being in the community, building relationships, identifying trends, and turning ideas into measurable growth.

Base Salary: $65,000–$90,000 CAD
Annual Performance Bonus: $10,000–$35,000+

Responsibilities
Develop regional marketing plans and execute campaigns
Increase awareness of Okanagan Go and VIBE Okanagan
Build relationships with:
wineries
restaurants
hotels
tourism operators
event organizers
local brands
Coordinate destination campaigns and seasonal promotions
Develop local guides and tourism features
Support business partner launches and promotional campaigns
Identify sponsorship and co-marketing opportunities
Work alongside sales teams to support listing growth
Collaborate with content teams on articles, interviews, and campaigns
Analyze visitor engagement and recommend improvements
Grow local email audiences and community participation
Represent Okanagan Go at community and industry eventsQualifications Required
3+ years experience in:Marketing

Strong project management skills

Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Comfortable attending local meetings and events
